An inspection was performed by our team to assess the cedar shake exposure length, flashing conditions, grade of the shingle, and condition of the open board deck through the attic. We provided a performance based specification to include the hand nailed product and installation requirements for the shakes, underlayment, and flashing. Our team referenced OSHA requirements for safety and included system appurtenances such as the woven cedar breather mat. Our team included limited construction administration to ensure that the work was installed as directed with the least impact on the owner’s operations as possible.
