A state-of-the-art video teleconferencing and conference facility, the new Maritime Technology Information Center supports a collaborative environment for ship system design and naval engineering. The design-build project was completed for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command – Washington, and includes a 400-seat auditorium, meeting areas, administrative space, and a cafeteria. The design reflects the Naval Surface Weapons Center, Carderock Division’s existing Art Deco campus style while incorporating energy-efficient and low-maintenance strategies.
