Gainesville District Station #4 was a complete transformation of an outgrown pre-engineered structure originally built for a volunteer organization that was converted to a modern state of the art career fire and rescue station.  The 13,500 SF existing facility was completely renovated while 5,200 SF of additions provided new living, sleeping, exercise and storage areas. Our design provided a modern facade for the entire building commensurate with the professionalism the station personnel provide to the community.  The project was successfully designed for phased construction such that the station was able to remain fully operational throughout the station’s complete renovation and expansion.
