The new four-bay station includes drive-through apparatus bays, full living quarters and locker rooms for 15 personnel per shift, and administrative spaces for the station itself and the Round Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. The new station focuses on rapid response and provides a high performance facility for the station’s critical mission. A Community Room, which has its own public-facing entrance and facilities, serves as an open meeting space for the Town of Round Hill and can also be utilized by the fire station staff for training. The civil engineering efforts on this project included the extension of Round Hill water and wastewater services to the site and connection to the new fire station. The station is seeking LEED v4 Silver designation.
