City of Manassas Fire and Rescue Station #21 consists of a new 20,839 GSF fire and rescue facility.  Samaha supported the user group in determining the operational and functional program requirements for the new station through a series of tours of other Samaha stations and meetings.  Samaha has explored multiple options for 1 & 2-story stations including the impact on the site development of both schemes.  Through community concern regarding the location of the fire station to an existing elementary school Samaha is currently conducting a site analysis for an alternate property to ensure the site will meet both the needs of a critical 2-minute response time in the community, and ensuring the site will meet the operational and programmatic needs of Fire and Rescue.
