Each year Samaha participates in Canstruction, an annual event at which architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and students create giant canned food sculptures to put a spotlight on our community’s need for food assistance. We purchase the canned food with the help of some sponsorship from our favorite consulting team members to create our structure, and after the competition the sculptures are deconstructed and the cans are donated to support the Arlington Food Assistance Center.
