The entry lobby to the Arlington Treasurer's Office was modified to provide the security of a ballistic wall, while still providing an accessible lobby for the public. The lobby entrance was pushed back to create a waiting room for guests, entered through inviting full height glass doors. The reception desk is protected with ballistic glass which extends to the ceiling. The treasurer's office colors, finishes and lighting were coordinated to blend with the existing space. This project was undertaken against a very tight deadline and was 100% completed on schedule and within budget.
